Air Quality Monitoring

Many applications exist where there is a requirement for monitoring ambient or outdoor air quality with respect of Particulates (PM10, PM2.5) gases and solvents or Polyaromatic Hydrocarbons PAH’s. Local and national governments often establish regional or national networks of monitoring stations, whilst industrial processes such as landfill, construction / demolition operations may require monitoring data to evaluate their impact on the local environment. Systems come in a variety of enclosures and configurations and may be located on site boundaries, by roadsides for traffic pollution monitoring, or in rural locations to establish background pollution levels.
